Everything Sheep Round 1 - Presented by Google!
HA! You just got Everything'd!
Welcome to Everything Sheep, the game that pulls questions from a wide variety of subjects! No cricket, rugby, or soccer (yes it's called soccer) questions allowed! This game will be run in mostly the same way as previous games. Click to see how the previous 24 Sheep games went down:
Spoiler:
B5 Sheep (Tracer Bullet) winner: TBD!
- Rules
- The object of the game is to out-think everyone by picking answers to questions that are the most common (Sheep) or least common (Reverse Sheep), but still correct.
- Example Sheep question: "Name a notable US Metropolitan statistical area." A good answer would be Los Angeles-Long
Beach-Santa Ana, CA and a bad answer might be Hickory-Lenoir-Morganton, NC. - Example Reverse Sheep question: "Name a current monarch." Queen Elizabeth might be a bad answer, but King Mswati III of Swaziland might be a good answer.
- Sheep scores are counted as negative numbers. Reverse sheep scores are counted as positive numbers. The lowest score wins.
- The answers to each question are tallied up. Wrong answers in Reverse Sheep are scored two points above the most common answer. This penalty is multiplied by the Lightning Round Multiplier. There is no penalty for wrong answers on Sheep questions.
- Certain rounds are considered Lightning Rounds (designated by a multiplier, such as ×2). In these rounds, scores are adjusted by the number on the multiplier. A wrong answer still gets a +4 penalty in a ×2 round and a +6 penalty in a ×3 round, and so on.
- You may not cheat by using Google, Wikipedia, etc. Use only what's in your head, and no you can't email me and ask me to Google it for you!
- Please send in your answers to me via PM. Place only one answer per line, without numbers or the question itself. Those who do not do this will be penalized 10 points right off the bat.
- I made an Excel spreadsheet for those who want to use it.
- If there are any questions, controversy, bickering, etc. regarding Reverse Sheep answers, there will be no voting on them.
Seriously, some of the bickering is fun but in certain games it really takes the fun out, so I purposely chose questions that aren't really up for debate.
- Sheep questions are marked by an S:, Reverse Sheep questions are marked by an R:.
- Unique Bonus!: Spoiler:

- R: ×4 There have been so many celebrity deaths in June and July of 2009! _________ was easily the one that affected me the most. (only 'celeb deaths' that have had their own dvdtalk thread will count, so Pakistani cricketer Khan Mohammad is a wrong answer. The thread must exist by the time of this edit)
Good Luck!
<hr>
We have a few games going on right now, so I will leave this open until Trek and Sports 3 have finished. Don't worry there won't be a cap on the number of players, either. Who would do that?
My questions are set up a bit different from previous games. Rather than just a question, they are more like fill-in-the-blanks, but not at all like Match Game. Not at all...
I literally chose these questions at random out of the 50 or so that I came up with.

I'm going to add to #13 the rule that handhelds aren't allowed in case anyone wasn't clear. It doesn't affect anyone's answers that have been submitted so far, but change if you would like.

There are a lot of questions in here that I know nothing about, but I'll play. My ignorant answers should amuse a lot of people around here.

Yup. The only time it really makes sense to answer incorrectly is if you don't think other people will not answer correctly either. For example, if you think no one else knows a real Nobel laureate.

In. This one should be pretty interesting. Too bad for me as a few sheeps questions I only had 1 or 2 answers.
UGH! Just looked up one of my answers (Reverse) - was off by a year. There goes one.
