Surprised John Marshall only got 2. Unless one can remember that Taft served as CJ, he's probably the most well-known prior to Earl Warren.

Wow. Oliver Ellsworth. That definitely wins the award for most unique. I could only think of 4 guys prior to Stone (Taft, Taney, Marshall, Jay).
