Yeah - I was wondering about that. I almost put him down since he's the Chief and was confirmed recently.

I ultimately went with Scalia though - he seems to angry up the blood far more than any other around here. Not even Souter making news could top him.

O'Connor almost reached Scalia's level. Not sure why Scalia was so popular.

Scalia is like that annoying uncle who talks out of his ass all the time. When I see Scalia interviewed, he never seems very scholarly.

I figured the forum would go with Roberts since he's the Chief.

This doesn't bode well for my pick for former speaker of the House

A perfect demonstration of my point below.

My age will show on that one. I went with the first one that popped into my head.

I had Gingrich as I figured he was the most famous recent one but then I decided to go for most recent as I figured the forum's members were more knowledgable in the subject than the general populations and would just automatically go in chronological order (reverse).

I predict Gingrich will be the #1 choice (that's why I picked it).

I tried to think of the one before Pelosi and I had already forgotten.

I went older school than Newt. If I had spent more time on that question, I probably would have gone with Newt for the same reason as Scalia.

Newt better be #1 for Speaker. Who else, Tip O'Neill? Henry Clay? Nathanial Macon? Schulyer Colfax?

The "european country on the wrong track will be an interesting one". I might have been too influenced by the 'Islam and the West' threads.

Man, I figured loads of people would be choosing the hottest Justice on the bench. We'll just call this my Super Princess Peach answer.

I just picked the country that always gets bashed, no matter what. The 'wrong track' wasn't even in the equation.

Looks like Livingston was never officially Speaker. Glad I didn't pick him

If there's more than one answer given for "name african head of state", I'll be surprised.
