Now that autumn has arrived, the leaves are starting to turn color and the nights are getting cooler, I begin my yearly tradition (since the late 1980s) of listening to my Misfits and Samhain records. Last night I pulled out my original vinyl of this bad boy, love this album!

The Samhain albums all need to be reissued on CD and vinyl. Not sure why they haven't been unless Glen Danzig just doesn't like money.

Thanks! I think it's a second or maybe third pressing, I bought it new back in 1987, a year after it came out.

Agreed, it's been over twenty years now! I get his beef with Rick Rubin which is preventing re-releases of the early Danzig albums, but he released the Samhain albums himself on Plan 9/Caroline, I think I remember reading the possible reason for the holdup, but I forget what it was. I unfortunately don't have original pressings of Initium and Unholy Passion on vinyl, I bought them on cassette and CD back in the day instead. I'd like to get originals on Discogs or something, but there are so many bootlegs of these albums floating around.

Tonight I'm gonna listen to my first pressing vinyl of the Misfits' Legacy of Brutality (which I bought in October 1986, right around Halloween, which was perfect!).
