Guns N' Roses: Perhaps / The General
Guns N' Roses have released 2 more Chinese Democracy outtakes with Slash & Duff re-recording the guitar & bass. "Perhaps" is available on most streaming services with a video on YouTube and will be released on 7" vinyl on 10/27 with b-side "The General"

Well I didn’t hate it like the last single but doubt i’ll ever listen to it again unless it’s on a full album. I enjoy Chinese Democracy quite a bit too…

Not as offensive as the two other singles but still awful.

All these tracks being released weren't good enough 15 years ago for Chinese Democracy, makes me assume they're releasing them now just for the sake of putting out new material.
It's better than nothing, but very underwhelming.

Honestly, not bad. I generally enjoyed Chinese Democracy, though I don't reach for it very often.

It has been awhile most of the original lineup has been performing again and still no new album?

Yeah and only re-recording older unused tracks isn’t a good sign for ever getting one. One of the many reason Chinese Democracy was initially delayed was a disagreement over the sound they should be going for with Axl wanting the more electronic sound we got in CD and Slash wanting it to be blues based rock like ya know, guns n’ roses.

Has anyone seen them recently? I want to go see this tour but Axl's voice seems beat. It seems better in the last couple recordings I've heard but it's still off. He's getting older and that range is hard to maintain but his voice could probably use a rest.

Sucks. Turned it off halfway.

The new song isn't top tier GnR, but I like it. Slash coulda put some more work into that weak solo, though.

Axl probably hit that David Lee Roth phase but hope the rest of the band can pick up the slack or just go to the concert to hear the Slash riffs and a bonus if Axl sounds halfway decent with his vocals.

Has anyone heard Duff's recent album Lighthouse? Some very good tracks on there, better than anything GnR has put out lately.

Wasn’t aware it even existed. Will check it out. I liked his debut album when it first came out. Need to give that a re listen as well.

I mean I guess by default that’s my favorite post CD single. Congrats.

I just hope their new album doesn't sound anything like the last couple of tracks released.

True, but I take what Slash says somewhat serious.

If they are working on a new album, I wouldn't expect it to come out any time before 2030.

Or 2040. Joking but I wouldn't be surprised.

I can’t put my finger on it, but theres some sort of ingredient that’s just missing from new GNR.
oh yeah, that’s right.

Yeah, without Izzy and Sorum or Adler, it still doesn't feel right. Comes off like a cash grab.
