Is there a way to see how much a certain seat at a concert was?
 

I belong to a program that for a yearly fee I get to see any show they offer free. I went to George Strait yesterday. I was feet from the stage. But the tickets were "sold out" by the time I got in the free ticket. So the sites don't show how much it is because it's unavailable. I keep a spreadsheet of what I spent (the parking makes it go up) vs the value I got and I price similar seats but I would like to price the same seats. With weekly shows it's easy, I just price on a couple of weeks out. With a concert with 2 dates with both dates being sold out, it's not the same. And I don't find out what seat I have until I get there.

I wonder if there's a forum or other site where people would have been trying to sell tickets. They generally mention what they paid for them vs. the price they are trying to sell them for.

Since it sounds like you had the best seats in the house, you could see if you could find a press release announcing the shows that includes a price range for tickets. You can assume your tickets would be the most expensive in that range. It's not apples to apples, but he's charging $2000 on up to $5000 for front row seats to his current stadium shows for 2023.

Well I was behind the VIP. So there was the floor, and than a raised level me. I could see his face. The problem is that every row goes up in money and not the same amount per row. My row wasn't available (I looked at sat's show after I went Friday). And each section is a different price, same row. And only like 7 rows back was available. I think my seat was $250. It's also other arena's, not Vegas. I may be able to price it whenever he comes back. Other arenas may have different seating.

With Ticketmaster's dynamic pricing structure I don't really know if there is a good way to do this anymore. Prices seem to fluctuate due to demand and other factors such that people are not paying the same price for the seat next to them the same way as was done in the past with arena shows.
