We did a little Boogie Nights theme. Decker posted Sister Christian after Living Thing, as both songs are on the soundtrack. I went specific scene, as in the attempted robbery of Rahad Jackson, three songs prominently play in the background: Sister Christian, followed by Jessie's Girl, then 99 Luftballons.

Seeing what happened with the Boogie Nights sequiturs, let's see if someone takes this in the direction that I'm thinking it might go:

If you were thinking pro wrestling then yes, that's where this is going...

Spoiler:
'Bad Reputation' is Ronda Rousey's WWE entrance theme.

Nah...I figured that someone would pick up on the fact that "Bad Reputation" was the theme song for Freaks & Geeks, and we'd get some Van Halen to follow it up.

It was worth a shot.

I was thinking [color]"Heart", since we had The Blue Hearts, then Joan Jett and the Blackhearts. I was like, what other colored "Hearts" band is out there?
As for Freaks and Geeks, I actually associate Bad Reputation more with Kick Ass than Freaks and Geeks, and I would have posted something from that movie like either The Dickies' version of Banana Splits, or Sparks' This Town Isn't Big Enough For the Both of Us, which were both featured prominently,

Sorry, I've never seen a single episode of F&G. And just looping back to the Boogie Nights stretch, it works for everyone who's familiar with the film. I only saw it once and just didn't know it well enough to add anything. Both familiarity with and lack thereof really help to keep this game unpredictable, right?

Sorry for the long clip. But well worth the watch. This is from the "Tusk" documentary back in 1979. And had my favorite Stevie and Lindsey moments in the studio and on stage.

That was the first concert I ever attended - Fleetwood Mac Tusk Tour, 1979! I still remember it.

I know it’s very poor form to repeat an artist but what the hell, I have to include my favorite Lindsey/Stevie on-stage moment. It’s less tender.

This is not only my favorite Fleetwood Mac song, but the studio version is my all-time favorite by any artist. And this is typically not the kind of music I listen to. But it's a beautiful song.

Back to the sequitur.

For the record, I get the above two acts confused constantly. And if you've bothered to read more than one or two of my posts in this sub-forum, you know which band is the one I'm actually interested in.

The original Duran Duran line-up had three unrelated Taylors: Andy, Roger, and John. They missed out by not recruiting James.
