Not sure if those were simultaneous posts of "19" songs, or if 19 is the sequitur. Therefore, I'm just gonna add 19 and 19 and get:

If we're just doubling now...

Paff 07-14-22 04:18 PM

Re: The Music Video Sequitur Thread

Well the reason *I* doubled was because there were two "19" songs in a row, so it was sort of a sequitur on the two posts combined, rather than just one. Like I said, I wasn't sure if it was a simultaneous posting of "Hey Nineteen" and "19", or if the previous trend of incrementing the sequitur by one each time had been abandoned.

I couldn't see any way to go from 38 Special to 20-anything (or Matchbox Twenty).

Re: The Music Video Sequitur Thread

^ The Paul Hardcastle post was a near-simultaneous post; after I posted it, I saw that sportsfan64 had posted "Hey Nineteen." I started to change the Paul Hardcastle post, but I figured that it was still a sequitur, so I left it. Someone could have come along and still posted a "20" song, but I think that Paff's rather ingenious sequitur was much more creative.

Now to follow up "Tonight's the Night"--not an actual live performance, but the sequitur's too good to pass up:

According to Gregg Bissonette, Billy Cobham's Quadrant 4 on the album Spectrum is what inspired Alex van Halen's drums in Hot For Teacher.

This is an awesome video to watch, as well:

Almost went right back to Van Halen's 1984 album, but instead chose this:

Spoiler:
Billy Cobham is originally from Panama. And yes, I had to use Wikipedia to find that out
