COVID-19 Quarantine Music Performances
There's been so many music artists livestreaming performances during the COVID-19 lockdown that I think it's worth a thread so people can post links to these performances, particularly the really good ones. (Note it doesn't have to be current performances, just ones done due to the lockdown so going back and linking any music performance since the lockdown started is A-OK.)
So to start off, here's Roger Waters (and his remote band) performing the song "Mother" from "The Wall" (posted on May 17th): (BTW, try reading Roger Water's lips when he silently mouths something around 1:54 in) |

I'll put these in spoiler. Many bands released full shows as live streams, here are some of my favorites:

Re: COVID-19 Quarantine Music Performances
Leland (Lee) Sklar has been doing videos which are some talking along with some kickass bass playing. Many Phil Collins fans will recognize him from performing with Phil, and appearing on a few of his albums, including No Jacket Required.
Apart from that, he's been on an unbelievable number of albums with a huge variety of artists, many iconic. I'm not aware of anyone more prolific. Check out his Wiki list of album appearances: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leland...elected_albums Here, he's doing a bass playover of Invisible Touch. It starts at about 4:35. |

i'm not sure how to link a video but if someone could link the one with Dave Grohl and other artists doing "Times Like These" it would be appreciated.

Re: COVID-19 Quarantine Music Performances
I mentioned this in the OK GO thread, but that was before this thread existed. The band wrote and recorded a new song in Quarantine after the lead singer Damian Kulash recovered from being one of L.A.'s earliest Coronavirus cases

^ I don't think I recognized or knew a single person in that video not named "Dave Grohl".
Liked the cover though. The rap even works. |
Re: COVID-19 Quarantine Music Performances
^Likewise. I did recognize the lead guy from Biffy Clyro, but didn't know where I'd seen him.
Although, something(s) stood out about the girl in the pink sweater... ;) Actually, another guy looked like another Foo Fighters member, but I don't know their names. One of the comments in YouTube included the full list and their appearance times: Spoiler:

Re: COVID-19 Quarantine Music Performances
i only knew Dave Grohl, Ellie Goulding and the lead vocalist from Bastille. I absolutely love this cover. Everyone has such a great voice. This song also sends a strong message, especially now.

Post Malone and Travis Barker did a Nirvana best of, and it was pretty decent.
