this record is The New!
soul, Motown, glam and manic anthemic. Punks, freaks and punishers!
The Dirty messy . The Stink. ,
The lyrics are like a party and lifestyle of not giving a fuck. The life AND death of the party. Not political. Surviving in chaos. The real shit.
Me mike and Tre of the Green Day cut through the bullshit. That’s how it’s always been for us. Everything else is fake. Frauds I tell ya!!
Rock has lost its balls. We’re gonna teabag all these mother fuckers. The baddest rock band on the planet that gives a shit.
“Glorious” or “glorious anarchy” seems to be the word that keeps coming up that reflects
Dancing
Tribalism
Anxiety
Joy
Violence
Drugs
Booze
Dangerous songs for dangerous kids!

Our motto??
“Nothing says fuck you like a unicorn”

Love And kisses
Billie

If I just blindly heard that single I’d never even guess it’s a Green Day song. Barely even sounds like Billie Joe to me.

I would have guessed it's a Fall Out Boy song.

Not a chance. This song is actually fairly good

Even the worst Green Day songs are better than most of anything Fall Out Boy has put out.

I wouldn't call myself a huge fan or anything, but I think Fall Out Boy is pretty good. Not sure why they get such a bad rap. I was excited when the tour was announced as Green Day, Weezer, Fall Out Boy, and Interrupters.

I'll take Fall Out Boy over anything Green Day put out post Nimrod. American Idiot is one of the most overrated albums of all time in my opinion. Post that its just filler. Warning was mostly filler as well.

Nah, overrated though it may be, AI is definitely their best, most consistent album. So much so, that they blew their wad on it and haven't recovered since.

Is it Tre singing?

Anyway, the song is garbage.

I might be one of the only ones who feels this way, but Warning to me is actually maybe my second or third favorite of their albums. Title track is good, Minority, Church on Sunday, Fashion Victim, and Macy's Day Parade are the stand outs to me. I think it's looked down on for being too mellow for Green Day, which I can see, but I've always really liked it.

American Idiot- I agree with Slop is probably their most consistent and maybe their last truly great album. I over-played it to death back in the day to the point where I don't like it as much. At least I don't revisit it as much.

I also like the album they did under a different name: Foxboro Hot Tubs: Stop, Drop, and Roll. Other than that everything post American Idiot I'm not a big fan of. The only time I saw them live was when they went on tour for 21st Century Breakdown. To me that was their first real let down album. It was clearly trying to be another American Idiot, but it was nowhere near as good. I can probably only name one track (21 Guns) from it. Everything since has never caught on with me. At a time I would have put Green Day as one of my favorite bands.

I like that one too.

But, do you like the album they made under the name The Network?

Picked up field seats for the show in Seattle in July. Very excited as I'm a pretty big Weezer and Green Day fan but never seen either band live.

I’ve heard about it but I never got around to listening to it. Any good?
