Jack White has revealed the release date, cover art, and tracklist for his new album Boarding House Reach. The follow-up to 2014’s Lazaretto arrives March 23 via Third Man/Columbia. Find the full tracklisting and cover art below. A deluxe version of the album will be available as part of the Third Man Records Vault Package subscription series. White has already shared its first two singles: “Connected by Love” and “Respect Commander.” He is set to headline this year’s Governors Ball alongside Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Eminem, and Travis Scott.

I have a third man subscription, and while this one looks a little light, I think overall they are worth it.
The Q1 2018 Subscription will be the only non-standard version of the album released.

I subscribed to the Vault for a couple years or so pretty consistently but have mostly stopped. The last one I got was the Pearl Jam one. I wish there was a bit more time for this one (cut off is January 31st) but I might try to get it.
I also see there’s a list of tour dates up. I haven’t seen him live yet and would like to so I might try to go to the Minneapolis show.

Jack White has announced his first tour in almost four years. The new live dates in support of his third solo album Boarding House Reach kick off on April 19 in Detroit at Little Caesars Arena and continue through August 23 in Las Vegas, with stops in London, Paris and Amsterdam as well as the previously announced festival headline performances at Shaky Knees (May 4-6), Boston Calling (May 25-27), and Governors Ball (June 1-3).
Tickets for the just-announced headline dates will go on sale to the general public on January 26 at 10am local time. Third Man Records Vault members will have access to the very first pre-sale starting on January 22 at 10am local time. Sign up for Vault Package #35 featuring the ONLY limited edition version of the album + to gain ticket pre-sale access FIRST here.
Fans will also have the opportunity to purchase tickets in advance of the public on sale during the Ticketmaster Verified Fan pre-sale to ensure tickets get directly into the hands of the fans. Registration for Ticketmaster Verified Fan is currently open and continues until January 19 at 11:59 PM ET here.
Additionally, every online ticket purchased in North America for the new headline shows will include a physical copy of BOARDING HOUSE REACH on CD. Fans will also have the option to upgrade their CD to the standard black vinyl LP. BOARDING HOUSE REACH is out March 23.

Think I'll pick up a concert ticket and just upgrade to the standard vinyl. Other than the demo 7", the vault package doesn't seem incredible (for $60).

Yeah the vault packages are kind of hit and miss. The single is the main draw for this one. Alternate cover is okay and the tri-colored vinyl is kinda cool but it’s nothing new. There’s also the early opportunity for tickets I guess. I don’t really care about the coin or pictures.

That song wasn't good either. I have very low expectations for this album now - the only song I like out of the ones released is Connected by love.
Oh well, there's still the perfect circle album to look forward to.

I find Jack to be pretty consistently good in his output so it’s a bit surprising that this new album is generating mixed reactions. I’ll still grab the album and would like to see him in concert.

Yeah, a couple listens in, and I don't like it (I liked his first two, and I really like Raconteurs and Dead Weather), but this album... this album's lame and pretty boring.

I don't know now, I went back and listened to connected by love a bunch of times - it's one of his best songs actually and gets better with multiple listens (not meaning it take multiple listens to like it, it just keeps getting better and better).

Spinning the vinyl right now. I like it better than the last one, but there is a lack of melodies, it's more like a jam record. Some of the songs are really strong, some completely forgettable.

This is actually a good album, what most people aren't use to is having to be patient with songs by Jack White as there are actually layers to his songs this time out. You're not going to get the immediate "Fix" his songs usually provide. The problem though is that he went a bit too far out there in a lot of spots but I honestly think this is just him trying to obtain a new direction.
Give the songs on this album multiple listens, be patient with it and you just may find yourself really getting into them, This is album is definitely better than Lazaretto - the below is my personal breakdown:
