This better be fucking GOOD. He pissed off everybody by letting these rumors that he'd drop it several weeks ago, and then nothing.

Odd that all the guest stars (the big names) are pop singers, I assume just to sing the hooks.

Would have been nice to have Em going back and forth with a few good rappers on this. Like say Kendrick Lamar etc.

Oh well. Shit, he'll be 50 the next time he puts out another album.

Either Eminem drops another album in two years or this is his swan song. I look forward to hearing it. Not trying to derail the thread but you guys should give Rittz a listen if you have never heard of him.

Honestly not that excited for it, MMLP 2 was bad and Recovery was average. He needs DRE badly.

This leaked yesterday. It's...not great. I wasn't a big fan of Recovery and it kind of reminds me of that more than anything, without the monster hits that one produced.

That crossed my mind when I typed that, but that song was on The Marshall Mathers LP 2. ;) Which I largely liked, go figure, for the most part.

That said, Rick Rubin and Eminem do not work well together at all. One of the songs he produced on Revival was him essentially hitting play on the backing track of "I Love Rock N Roll". I mean, come on.

MMLP2 is a really good album and much better than the couple that came before it. This album sounds like a shit show but I want to give it a listen but not sure about coughing up 15 bucks for a disc.

This is, honestly, the first release Eminem is coming out with that I am really not excited about at all. If I can find it for $10 or less, I'll pick it up but it definitely isn't the Day 1 purchase his stuff used to be for me.

I had read the negative feedback from many fans and music critics online. Just listened to the whole album, and it is stunningly bad.

I like MMLP2, but this is awful. Out of 17 songs, I had hoped for 6 or 7 good ones, but nope.

Eminem could have any producers he wanted on this and the production is corny and flat awful.

If this is his final album, what a shame. Should've had Dr. Dre do some tracks.

Please check out Rittz' Last Call album if you are looking for something recent that is more than just decent. I say he is the best rapper out right now.

I used to be a big Eminem fan back even before the "My Name Is" days but I haven't listened to anything of his since like his 3rd album. I was expecting this album to be mediocre due to all the early buzz but this is absolutely terrible. It starts off good with "Walk on Water" which I think is a good song and to hear him doubt himself and feel not relevant is refreshing but it just drops off a cliff after that. I don't know how anyone around him allowed "Remind Me" on this album. One of the worst songs I've heard in a long time.

thought MMLP2 was fantastic. will get the physical of this for $3.00 after Amazon credit, so no big if it is lousy. i still hold out hope bc he is an amazing lyricist...
