Really looking forward to this one. I just heard the vinyl for the first time the other night and to hear all the instrumentation was like hearing the record for the first time.

Inside a black box emblazoned with a dark image of a burned copy of OK COMPUTER are three heavyweight 180 gram black 12" vinyl records and a hardcover book containing more than 30 artworks, many of which have never been seen before except by us, and full lyrics to all the tracks except the ones that haven't really got any lyrics.

Under this weighty tome are yet more surprises: a notebook containing 104 pages from Thom Yorke's library of scrawled notes of the time, a sketchbook containing 48 pages of Donwood and Tchock's 'preparatory work' and a C90 cassette mix tape compiled by us, taken from OK COMPUTER session archives and demo tapes.

To avoid accusations of wilful obscurity, a 320k MP3, 16- or 24-bit WAV download of 23 tracks will be available to you on 23rd June and a download of the cassette will be inside the box. This edition is currently only available from this site and will ship to you from July.

Postage from the UK is atrocious ($14.60). Hopefully these will make their way to Amazon US.

One of my favorite albums of all time. I'll buy a damn CD if they release it in that format.

I'd consider the plain vinyl version (No need for that excessive box set), but US shipping is $18.89! That's damn near $50 for one album.* Pass. I'll wait and see if it shows up at a US retailer (indie or not) instead.

*says the guy who just paid $135 for a rare 2xLP... sigh...

There will be a unique download code included with the box set so you can get the digital files.

Can someone fill me in on the cassette thing? A terrible format. Vinyl at least retains it's sonic clarity. Cassettes are just dumb.

I'm talking about the very existence of the medium in 2017. I see new releases posted all the time on Instagram on cassette.

They are coming back. I found a bunch of old unopened Maxell Gold tapes from my tape trading days at my folks house and got a pretty penny for them. I was going to throw them away.

It's really about the sound. It just sounds better when you're listening to it through a blanket.

I think I'm going to skip this. I already have the excellent 2xLP and 6 of the 8 b-sides on vinyl. I might buy the unreleased tracks if they make them available individually for digital download.

Got an email from the Radiohead site that the vinyl has been delayed due to a manufacturer error. Amazon says the vinyl is now due for a July 7 release

The original vinyl sounds so amazing I'd be curious if this can improve on that in any way.

Like most awful trends in our society, blame hipsters for this useless revival.

The cassette in this case is just a chachki meant to be fun, nothing more than clever packaging - the real item you're buying with it is the code to download the demos digitally, which is the only way to get them.

Downloaded the three "new" songs off of iTunes. That is enough for me. The original CDs of the album and the Airbag EP sound great.

Phenomenal song. I do agree with the band that it doesn't really fit on OKC. It sounds like to me to be a cross b/w Just and Paranoid Android. I actually think it may have worked better on The Bends if anything but even on that record would have been redundant with Just. Just a great song without a home.

Great track. Feels like it could fit on Hail To The Thief but not OK Computer.

Got the digital code from the website, and did some compare with the cd version thats on my itunes and there def seems to be more clarity in the guitar work and is a hair louder, but i wouldn't call it 'clipped'
