actually, I'd bet that he was on medications for heart failure that made him bloat up like that.

Someone can blow the top of your head off in a high-oxygen environment and you'd still die no matter how much oxygen your poor newly-exposed brain is exposed to.. |

Jesus, I no doctor, but I'm guessing the weight issues probably contributed to his heart problems.
Edit, I see that TGM mentioned weight gain from medications. That's also possible. George Michael was always a healthy, trim guy. I kind of doubt he suddenly went 1977 Elvis in his final couple of years. |

Or the heart problems contributed to the weight issues. You can really pack on the water weight when your heart starts to fail.

I used to open with a Judy Garland song for about 30secs (Somewhere Over The Rainbow was always popular but I sometimes switched it every 4 weekends), then would overlay an instrumental of Monkey (with some whip references and monkey sounds I had to record then hook up to the mixer), outro-ing to I Want Your Sex.
Back then, while the pop/top 40 stations were playing his singles, the black/urban stations were also playing One More Try, Father Figure, and especially Hard Day. The man actually has an American Music Award for best R&B artist! I can't think of many white artists that got that kind of love from black radio. That list is Teena Marie, George Michael, and uh..... |

Sucks he died.
Just like Prince he had a good soul and did a lot of charity work where he did not seek credit for. Shame on anybody that makes fun of him or his weight and even though he is a pop star he is human just like the rest of us. TMZ should not have published those photos. |

Re: George Michael Dead 12/25/16
I didn't know about the Documentary, but I guess that explains why this remaster came out last week.
https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon....xL._SX522_.jpg I listened to it last week (without prejudice -rolleyes- ) and enjoyed the MTV Unplugged tracks a lot. |
Re: George Michael Dead 12/25/16
Is a DVD included with that too?
