Viola Beach killed in car crash

Apparently all four members of this British band and their manager were killed in a car crash in Sweden over the weekend. I'm terrible about keeping up with new music, but I really liked this song when I gave it a listen. Very sad.

Damn! I know nothing about them but this is sad. I hope their families find peace. RIP

apparently they drove right off a bridge opened to let a boat pass? wtf

never heard of them, but that song is kind of catchy... Coldplay meets Oasis?

sad.

I wonder if this is the first time that entire band was killed together. Skynyrd lost several, I know, but not the ENTIRE band. How tragic. The song sounded good too.

I can't think of any, I know The Exploding Hearts lost 3 of their 4 members in a car wreck, and a band called CounterFlux lost 3 of their 4 members yesterday in a car wreck caused by a DUI driver that had just been released.

Edit: There was a band called Brazilian band called Mamonas Assassins that perished in a plane crash. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mamonas_Assassinas ... they're kind of like a Brazilian Aquabats.

Wow, the word mamona or mamon is a vulgar term in Spanish for cocksucker. Mamona is the feminine word.

FYI

So they were the cock sucker assassins.

Actually 5 members in CounterFlux. They are local to me, and that happened just up the road - very sad situation there.

It was a goofy/satirical band so that makes sense.
