This is the worst Grammy show I have ever seen.

Kendrick Lamar's performance was awesome.

The Grammys are all about performances for the past several years now. Most of the award winners are announced before the show even starts (not the ones they actually present on stage, of course).

I don't know why anyone would rather see award handouts than actual performances. And yeah, AS is rock. The hell other category would they fall under?

Yes, they have been performance heavy for over 10 years. Look it up. They've gradually gotten more and more (last few have been like this). 2006 Grammy's had 16 sets of performances. This year has 20. Last year had 24.

And the Grammy is the only award show to grow viewers this century. It's actually a good strategy because whatever 5 albums are up for AOTY fans of 100 different artists will think someone else should be nommed instead so making it about the actual awards would be a no win situation for Grammys.

And go see more concerts. Sure, I'll get right on that when tickets are reasonably priced again, which will be never.

So why show up? I mean I guess if you want to watch a couple hours of performances, but it used to be you showed up in hopes of winning an award.
For home viewers it was the same. WHO'S GONNA WIN!!!!! ZOMG!!!!
Now all we get are performances of the 'IT' people in music.
