Spotify questions?
I got Spotify Premium a week ago.
Everytime I go too play a complete album, or playlist,it stops after one song and plays another artist.
I deleted the interfering artist's album and it still appears and plays after the one song of someone's else's album.
Next to the song there is either and -X- or a checkmark. What do they stand for?
Why don't they set it up where you can number the songs that you want to play in a row or can you do that already?
I just need a brief recap on how you play a certain artist's songs and how many albums and playlists can you save.

If this behavior is happening when you do that, then maybe something else is wrong. Not sure.
Also, check your "Play queue" to see if that identifies what's going on.

as for "how many" well, you have unlimited artists, songs, albums, playlists that you can add to your music or whatever. BUT, on your phone, you can only store something like 3000 songs "offline" for later use (ie: if you don't want to use your mobile data on the go)

I am on a laptop .
If you play the first song of an album, shouldn't it play the entire album or do you have make a playlist for everything.

Re: Spotify questions?
It should definitely play the full album, start to finish, assuming you don't start another album or playlist afterwards. You do not need to make a playlist. Are you hitting play when you're on the artist's main page, or are you doing it from the search screen? That might make a difference, but I'm not sure...

Re: Spotify questions?
Yeah-I hit play. What I'd like too do is play three or four albums in a row with the same artist.
Another thing I'd like too do is take 10-15 artists and play three songs in a row with each artist but that looks like something that would take a lot of work.

Re: Spotify questions?
Is there a way to erase everything and start over?
I keep getting one artist playback no matter who I decide(ArtistRadio, etc).

Re: Spotify questions?
I sent them an email.
Uninstalling does no good because everything goes back to square one.
Update:They responded to the email fairly quickly.
Edit
Preferences
Playback
uncheck enable hardware acceleration
do a clean re-install
That seems to have taken care of the problem.

Re: Spotify questions?
What Spotify isn't clear on is that you have a queue. You can see your queue by clicking the "three horizontal bars" button in the lower right corner between "lyrics" and the shuffle button. By default, your queue is supposed to clear when you exit the app, and any album you double-click on should automatically appear in the queue (in order). You can click on the three dots (to the right of a song) and choose "Add to queue" to add the song to your list. This page has a pretty good explanation for what Spotify has done a poor job explaining, IMHO.

Re: Spotify questions?
I would like them too be more clear on re-recording of songs. Maybe put an * next to the song. Or put re-recordings in their own section.
