Have you heard your monk yet? That is an awful sounding record and mine skips a lot. Right from the get go. And it's the only one giving me problems since I balanced every thing.

Ive listened once, and it sounded ok, will spin it again tonight. I love the hank mobely though, it sounds terrific.

Interesting. Several reviewrs on Amazon mentioned the bad quality and mine seems to be the same caliber. It could be my player was similar to theirs (not the highest of ends), but everything I played before and after it sounded great. With this one, I can actually see the needle hopping and skating/skipping. Ive never seen that before lol

I loved the Blakey album, really good and makes me want more! I did not jump on the Hank Mobley but was really eye balling it.... I will probably jump since its still $10.

I also got my colored vinyl Marley and LOVE it! Worth it for $3.50 extra. And I forgot to post this as I got it through the Amazon app and didnt have time to post the deal here. But The Beatles Hard Days Night (Mono) was only $11 the other day. I snagged it up and glad I did as the next day when I was going to post the deal, it was back up to $23.

Seems with Amazon you gotta go every day and see what dropped. And I ordered the Mobley. I just hope Blue Note did a good release as opposed to that Thelonius....
