Wow. The'll be doing a show at The Observatory in Santa Ana. That's about 20 minutes away from me. No way I'm missing this.

Re: The 'Ghost B.C.' Thread

Just got my tickets for the L.A. show. With processing fees and all it came out to $34 a ticket. Some folks are having issues, because they seem to be logging in with possibly expired links. You have to buy the tickets through the ticket vendor site directly, which is www.axs.com

And someone finally posted their performance from Rio last year - one of their better professionally shot live sets out there:

You Ghost fans might also like Subvision. A couple of members of Ghost played in the band ...

Yep, Subvision was an alternative rock project. You can tell it's Papa singing. Parts of Subvision remind me of stellastarr*.

Re: The 'Ghost B.C.' Thread

Cool interview where they talk about what's next in store for the band. They already know what they're doing for the 3rd and 4th albums:

http://www.ghostcultmag.com/an-interview-with-ghost/

“The new record we are working on will not be more orchestral because we plan on using more of that on the fourth album (they're currently on album 2). We have it all planned out in terms of concept and theme, we just need to execute these ideas. I think we are clear on what will happen, at least two records ahead from now. We have ideas on changing the appearance and the thematics in order to make it interesting. We have painted ourselves into a corner in a sense that we will reinvent ourselves every time to keep this interesting. Papa will be reinvented each time too. He will evolve alongside our albums.”

Re: The 'Ghost B.C.' Thread

Papa boogies down in his "Walter White" get-up for a couple of songs live in a studio:

"Walter White" has some moves, yo!

Re: The 'Ghost B.C.' Thread

I got my tickets for their L.A. show in April.

I also found out that Papa, in disguise as a Ghoul, is the actual spokesperson for the band when he does a one on one interview.

In this interview the Ghoul talking about the band is actually Papa. Also, look at the hands and look at Papa's hands as he's putting the make-up on over the mask. Same hands.

Yeah. I printed them out. I guess it all depends what state/city you're in and who is administering the sale. The L.A. show was being sold through AXS.com and then the orange county show was being sold through Ticketmaster/TicketWeb.

There are so many vendors out there now.

What's wrong with Papa's "normal" face? He doesn't even look like he can move his mouth when he speaks. Maybe he's wearing make up effects but I'm not sure.

That's a silicone mask completely pulled over his face. I think it goes down to the neck line. The only think that's real are the ears and eye holes. Of course you can't really see it with him wearing glasses. The mask he wears on stage as Papa Emeritus II is a variation of this one painted black and white,

Re: The 'Ghost B.C.' Thread

Here's a shitty quality taping of what looks to be a teaser of the new album, the new masks the ghouls will be wearing, and of Papa Emeritus III. Watch at your own risk.

They were out here about a month ago filming a music video, so I'm guessing the new look will be unveiled there and if not there then next week in Sweden.

EDIT - Here's the cover of the new album:

Re: The 'Ghost B.C.' Thread

Love me some Ghost. I'll have to get the wife to get me the cd and send it to me on deployment. Don't want to wait till I get back. I think their new single is supposed to come out in a few days.

First single:

Yep, sounds like Ghost. Not blowing me away but I've found their singles usually aren't album highlights anyway. Definitely digging the vibe of this track, though.
