Perhaps someone more linky skilled than i can embellish this thread when appropriate.

The Avett Brothers new album will be released Oct 15. it is streaming right now legally and for free at NPR website.

There's a standard and deluxe version of the album. I don't have the tracklist in front of me right now, but I think the deluxe version has demo versions of some of the songs. Target will have an exclusive version with a few other bonus tracks.

It's pretty good. These were all rejects from The Carpenter.

I thought it was very strong. I think I like the new one even better.

Loved 'The Carpenter'...have enjoyed the first two songs I've listened to so far.

Have listened to this album probably 10 times the last few days. Love it almost as much as 'The Carpenter'; 'Open Ended Life' is a fantastic song, although the way that song is mixed is a little odd to me (the harmonica just really seems to cut through everything else when it fires up).

Otherwise, great effort (again) from these guys.
