Rob Zombie: Venomous Rat Regeneration Vendor

The new single and video are out and I'm digging them both. Not a fan of Sheri Moon as an actor, but love her dance and moves.

I also find skeleton break dancers creepy in general. Yes, I have the vinyl pre-ordered!

I really liked his first couple of albums, but each one I seem to like less and less. Maybe my tastes have just changed too much.

No, they just got worse and worse. Hellbilly Deluxe is kickass from beginning to end. Sinister Urge was weak by comparison but had some memorable stuff. But the next two were totally unmemorable.

I often wonder if there was a bunch of stuff leftover from White Zombie for the first solo record since it's so much better.

Zzzzzzzz... I keep wanting to be able to reconnect with Rob's music but, unfortunately, it's just terrible. He's been resting on his laurels for wayyy too long, and if he thinks this is a return to form, then I don't suspect it's ever getting better.

Looking forward to this new release, I've actually liked all of his solo albums so far....

Re: Rob Zombie: Venomous Rat Regeneration Vendor

I've given this an entire spin, and while some of the tracks are good it's fairly repetitive and Zombie's lyrics are as "Monster Mad Libs" as ever. Teenage Nosferatu Pussy is a pretty good opener, though.
