And I got the last copy (at my favorite local store) of the 180g limited edition of Green Day's Saviors.

Since we were talking about Tarantino soundtracks noticed and ordered Kill Bill vol 2 for 12.35 on amazon. Few more copies left if anyone is interested

I think I have almost every Tarantino soundtrack on CD, I never really thought about buying them again on vinyl, but dammit, now I'm really considering it.

My copy of Television's Marquee Moon was delivered today, I can't wait to spin it tonight, most of the reviews on how it sounds are really positive.

I held a copy of Marquee Moon at the record store Saturday (not the super-special edition you bought, but a current reissue nonetheless), looked at it for a few seconds, then said "nah" and put it back in the rack. One of these days. Maybe.

Added the Rush - Moving Pictures 40th Anniversary vinyl boxset to my collection recently. Five albums including the complete 1981 YYZ concert in Toronto. Direct-to-metal half-speed mastering. Fantastic sound quality. No filler at all ... this is Rush at their peak from start to finish. Highly recommended for fans of this band and for those who would like to dip their toe in the water as well ...

Yeah, I'm going to pick that Rush set up. Have my original 80s pressing of that album, but the 40th Deluxe is a steal at under $100 so I'll at least pick that up.

Though the Super Deluxe is tempting with the book, picks, and drumsticks, but I'm not sure the swag is worth an extra hundred bucks.

Decisions, decisions...

(That came out about a year ago? Damn. Totally missed it. Looks like they're doing this for multiple albums. I'd like to have the Super Deluxe 2112, but it seems to sell in the $500 range on the aftermarket.)

Say what you want about the movie, but this is a really cool and unique release. Even with my disgust for vinyl, I may have to pick this up.

I hate soundtracks that include dialogue from the movie. Just give me the music.

I’ve been getting into vinyl again a little bit. I had kind of lost interest but my wife has recently gotten into it and wants to get all the Taylor Swift albums eventually. My latest pick up is Jerry Seinfeld: Jerry Before Seinfeld (from the Netflix special of the same name).

I’m mostly trying to stick to soundtracks and favorite albums in terms of what I’m buying.

Depends on the movie for me. If it is a very quotable movie or a movie, I have seen a million times, I don't mind it. I like having the option of both.

I just thought this was a really cool looking presentation more than anything.

Oh, I'm going to get that. Love the cover art and all of the themed swag.

That's pretty damn cool. (I really like the first two acts of the film, but for me it kind of fell apart after that)

Just picked up the 30th anniversary edition of my favorite of Darkthrone's "Unholy Trilogy". (an original 1993 pressing would likely set me back around $500 or more these days, so this will have to do)

Cool - thanks for the list, Geofferson ...

Looking to pick up The Tragically Hip - Live At CBGB's 1993. It would be a nice complement to the Live At The Horseshoe Tavern LP I have in the Fully Completely boxset from that same period. More live Hip is always a good thing!

Must-haves are Pearl Jam and Neil Young. That Loosegroove comp might be fun. I see they're reissuing Dead Milkmen's Bucky Fellini for the first time since its original 1987 pressing. Oddly enough, I just spun the OG a few weeks back, IIRC.

Nothing on the list I really need, I'm glad of that.

Wouldn’t mind The Ramones lp but not going to go out of my way or pay much for it so probably won’t get it.

I have the 1983 Wonderland/Polydor double-vinyl of Nocturne and will attest to it being an excellent live album ...

Yeah, the Siouxsie live album is tempting, but I haven't heard great things about the band's recent vinyl reissues so I'm kinda wary.

They can't possibly be as lousy as the Psychedelic Furs and the Echo & The Bunnymen reissues, could they? I'll throw The Cure in there as well. Just awful sounding / dirty vinyl that wouldn't surprise me if they were remastered from 3rd generation flea market CDs. Frustrating and extremely disappointing. The Siouxsie & The Banshees live album I have, though, sounds fantastic. Hopefully this new RSD reissue does, too.

Is that the one from a few years ago on RSD? Because if it is, I'm glad I passed. I held it in my hands for a bit, because I got shut out on all the titles I did want, but ultimately put it down because I saw it was a concert from the early 2000s, and not a vintage 80s Echo show.

I'll get it. I've gotten all the other Ramones RSD exclusives, why stop now. And they tend not to sell out, as long as you go sometime fairly early in the day. You don't have to be there on line the night before, but if you pop in sometime before noon you'll get it.
