I know it's a parody song. Just a day or two ago, I actually came across this song on the radio. Of course, they didn't say who the song was by or the band. Does anyone here know this song ?

I'm pretty sure some of the lyrics are "feel the wind in your face of a thousand races.." I may be wrong on that, though. I've tried looking it up, but nothing I found was the right song.

That's "Jet" by Paul Mcartney & Wings. I'm assuming you're fairly young as that was a huge radio hit.

I'm not that young. Though it did come out just a few years before I was born, I probably wouldn't have heard it anyway. I'm not in to that kind of music as a general rule. I do love the Beatles, though.

FWIW that "parody" song reminded me of why I stopped listening to terrestrial radio 11 years ago. Ugh that was fucking painful.

70s pop music.....I love good music. I didn't say that I didn't like the kind of music that Paul McCartney did in the 70s. I just said I don't listen to it as a rule. I listen to a lot of other kinds of music and usually only hear 70s pop music while I'm in between stations...
