I think it’s been reported that she has declined to play the show. It’s not impossible but she’s playing in Japan the night before. The question would be why would she do it? The Super Bowl halftime show is only for promotion. Artists don’t get paid and she’s already the biggest thing currently out there. Not sure if the NFL would really want her. I can only imagine what ticket prices would be and there is the chance that a third to half the audience leaves after half time.
For all the people in the clip. JFC get a life. What do they think that she’s going to drop a set or something? Have considerations for the neighbors. True but all or most of the music icons of our time have done that show and though she won the war against Katy Perry in sales and popularity she probably wants to put her own spin on that show and cement her legacy as one of the all time greats with a Super Bowl performance. It will happen when the time is right and the NFL which is all about money has her first on the list every year until she finally accepts the gig. |

Awesome. And I love that song. What was the other one? There's always one guitar and one piano song.
Plus she put Tis The Damn Season back into the set in now that Haim isn't playing No Body No Crime. I really liked her live version of Tis, it made me like the song more. Glad you enjoyed the show. The Eras Tour is pretty remarkable, and seeing the very first International show must have been pretty cool. |

Filmed version of the ERAs concert will be shown at theaters starting October 13. Tickets are on sale. No A-List and no discounts on AMC app. And no refunds. You can also see it at Regal and other chains it looks like.
I just happened to wake up and get my ticket. $24.89 for IMAX tickets. There is a virtual queue and demand seems high on AMC. I used the AMC app as there is no surcharge. |
