Re: Live music streams

Not a lot going on since it got cold out, but no fear...Warren Haynes is on the scene. His Pre-Christmas jam on Friday, December 14th will be broadcast on WNCW 88.7 beginning at 6 PM EST. This is an impromptu jam session that historically has featured collaborations of members of the bands scheduled to perform for the actual Christmas Jam that occurs the following evening.

Saturday's Christmas Jam will be broadcast on ASX tv (where available) beginning at 6:30 PM EST. (I'll be searching for an alternative means since ASX is not available in all markets, will post back when I find it)

For this year’s Christmas Jam, Haynes has enlisted the Blind Boys of Alabama, String Cheese Incident, Sheryl Crow, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue as well as his own Warren Haynes Band as the main acts with Anders Osborne, Karl Denson, Kevn Kinney and Mike Barnes aboard as guests with additions to be announced soon.

Re: Live music streams

http://www.vh1.com/music/tuner/2012-...live-from-msg/

It’s not every day that you get the opportunity to see Bon Jovi, Eric Clapton, Dave Grohl, Billy Joel, Alicia Keys, Chris Martin, Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, Eddie Vedder, Roger Waters, Kanye West, The Who, Paul McCartney and – just added! – The Rolling Stones perform in one night. But next Wednesday December 12th at 7:30pm EST, 121212 – The Concert For Sandy Relief will be broadcast from New York City’s Madison Square Garden to over one billion people in North and South America, Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia, and you shouldn’t miss it!

Performing together on 12.12.12 to raise awareness for the victims of Hurricane Sandy, these world-renowned, A-list artists will all help The Robin Hood Foundtation raise funds to rebuild communities and lives of those affected by the disastrous storm. Here at @VH1, we’ll be live-streaming the 5-hour long concert at 121212concert.vh1.com, so bookmark the page and feel free to donate what you can as you catch the historical night right here alongside us. If you can’t find an internet connection, tune-in to VH1 Classic or Palladia to watch the show over good old-fashion television airwaves!

ABOUT THE ROBIN HOOD RELIEF FUND

Robin Hood has launched a large-scale relief effort to aid our neighbors in the tri-state area whose lives have been shattered by Hurricane Sandy. Within hours of the storm, Robin Hood- funded non-profits were providing blankets, hot food, heaters, generators and more to residents in Red Hook, Coney Island, the Rockaways and all across the region. Now, one month out from the storm, thanks to our supporters, Robin Hood has been able to provide over $8 million in grants to more than 90 different groups.

We are now moving into phase two of our recovery effort, providing for the long-term needs created by the storm including: housing, job-training, legal counseling and more. The need is great. Please contribute generously, and know that every cent of every dollar you donate will go to helping those whose lives have been torn apart.

Thanks to the generosity of concert organizers, sponsors, and Robin Hood’s board of directors, every single penny from ticket purchases and donations will go to the best community organizations serving the victims of Hurricane Sandy through the Robin Hood Relief Fund.
