Re: New PIL

Good lord..been waiting ages for this.I never thought we'd have a new PIL album.
I figured John Lydon would rather do TV work and the occasional Sex Pistols reunion(I am really hoping he got the latter out of his system).

Re: New PIL

I'm a pretty big fan of the first 2 PIL albums - especially the first - and I was thinking that this new album was going to be pretty terrible.

I listened to the entire thing and I didn't really think it was all that bad. I found myself enjoying it at times.

Re: New PIL

This is a pretty solid effort. FYI - there is a special edition import version featuring an all-region NTSC DVD of one of their live shows filmed earlier this year. Excellent mix of songs. I ended up ordering mine directly from Amazon.uk and it was still cheaper than buying it through Amazon.com.

Re: New PIL

I'm glad to find out they have a new album!

I once saw PIL in concert back in 1992 and it was a great show (John Lydon even mooned the audience). And, lately, I've started listening to some PIL again, even though the only album of their I own is "The Greatest Hits, So Far" compilation, and was reminded on how good they were.

So, hell yeah, more PIL!

Re: New PIL

I love "One Drop" and a couple of others. It's much better than the album they last did, but overall I'd call the new pup average.
