Here With Me is pretty good, but I like Miss Atomic Bomb a lot. Different strokes...

A lot of their songs are pretty great with mediocre lyrics. It's their weakness.

ah, so you were at the Detroit/Ypsilanti show also? It was probably one of the best times I had seen them live. The build up to the Instrumental during Miss Atomic Bomb that had the pyro on stage was brilliant. Also gave me an appreciation for most of the Battle Born tracks. The only thing I would've changed is "Battle Born" as the encore. I think "Flesh and Bone" would've gone over much better.

and Tegan & Sara... wow they were great. Can't wait for the new album.

Was my first time seeing them...was very impressed.

Missed most of Teagan and Sarah but that seemed like an odd opener.

I really like Battle Born, so was happy with the closer. Agree that all of the new songs sound better live.

Agree or do you question why Brandon Flowers of all people would make this statement?

The Killers drummer Ronnie Vanucci went on the record with The Sun to talk about the difference between the music scenes in England and in America.

"Breaking in the UK first was great because America is retarded musically," Vanucci said. "It's upside down. There's so much great music that doesn't get the attention. There's a lot of bulls--t on U.S. radio."

America is retarded musically,' drummer Ronnie Vanucci said.

Frontman Brandon Flowers agreed, repeating Vanucci's terminology.

"I start to wonder, what do adults listen to? Do they listen to what's being played on the radio?" he added. "You should listen to something that's for you — not about giving your virginity to your boyfriend on Saturday night."

"It is retarded," he said. "Every song is that song. And if 40-year-olds are listening to that rubbish, they're going to raise kids on it. It's not even music."

Merrium-Webster definition: : slow or limited in intellectual or emotional development or academic progress.

Yes. I agree that American radio is most definitely retarded.

Funny. That's how I describe every Killers album after Hot Fuss.

Probably should post this on Lou Reed thread but they did a nice live version of Pale Blue Eyes.

The new single from their new greatest hits album.

Kind of early for a greatest hits album?

Ha, so Shot at the Night is an 80's track. And I don't buy the premise of the video.

Not a bad tune, but the chorus is lacking.
