Normally I'm a Hard Rock/Metal fan but lately I've been listening to a lot of Deadmau5, Skrillex, and other similar artists.

Re: What are you listening to? (March 2012)
Friday on my way home from work, I fired up Pandora on my iPhone through my car stereo. Put on my Tegan and Sara station and the second song that came on was Ruin by The Pierces.
Great song, so when I got home, I grabbed the full album after giving it a once over preview listen through Amazon.

Xiu Xiu — Always
This is the first time I've listened to them as the cover of Fabulous Muscles kept me away.

*** Another face ripper of titanic thrash proportions. This album scorches, and it's all kinds of heavy hitting brutality. I'd say I prefer it to Ironbound, which was equally as impressive. Also, that cover is FUCKING METAL! ***
*** I've been on a serious VH kick for the last month or two, rotating all the DLR albums on a near-daily basis. I can't say which album I like most from that era right now - they're all pretty damn solid - but this one has some great cuts and a heavier EVH influence.
*** This is something I didn't know a damn thing about until a friend insisted I rip it. It's pretty damn soulful and engaging. The themes are very cinematic in nature, with some impressive vocals from Jones. It's different, but I think a lot of people here would appreciate it.

New:
Cloud Nothings: Attack on Memory - very good post rock album. Seems highly inspired by bands like Slint and The Dismemberment Plan.
Menzingers: On the Impossible Past - top drawer pop-punk. Zippy and catchy and a bit angsty.
Old:
Pet Shop Boys: Introspective - My favorite synth pop album of all time. Great songs, great production.
Serge Gainsbourg: L'Histoire de Melody - creepy dirty old man French jazz rock. Also a classic.
