Triumph, just about an hour ago! They were one of my bucket list bands that I somehow missed seeing live in the 80's. What a great show. I had a big grin on my face the entire time. I think this is the perfect example of how aging bands can handle a tour and put on a great show. While Rik might not be able to reach the highest of highs vocally, he can still thrash that guitar like a much younger guy. The voices on Kerns and X were fantastic, filling in spots where Gil and Rik needed help. Sounded strange on paper when they announced the tour, but it just works. Stacked setlist.
Oh, and if you told me anytime in the last 5 years that I'd be able to see Triumph AND Rush in the same year I'd call you crazy, but here we are!
