a stat that may make some people on here's head spin, With Born This Way being nominated, Lady Gaga becomes the first artist since the Beatles to be nominated for album of the year 3 years in a row, and i think has a legit chance of winning, 3rd times the charm

No more Heavy Metal category means expect heavy metal bands to lose every time to some hard rock bullshit.

Which contains the song nominated for "Record of the Year."

I think Justin Bieber was the consensus "shoe-in" last year. Good thing Spalding won - she has more talent than all of them combined.

It was officially released as a single here in the United States in October 2010. The eligibility period is October 1, 2010 - September 30, 2011. So the song can compete in individual categories.

It's a great song from a great album. Too bad they weren't well known enough to get an Album of the Year mention in the past. It's one of the best in recent years.

MBDTF wasn't even the best hip-hop album released last year.

I hope you are right about Bon Iver. But I think Nicki Minaj will take it.
