iTunes cannot locate the album artwork for this? Wow. Anyway, I'm a few tracks in and am enjoying it.

In for one at that price. I prefer physical media to strictly download and it is cheaper. Thanks for the heads up!

Ordered it at BB for $4.99. Great deal even if there are only a handful of tracks that I end up liking. Based on the reviews, I don't think I have to worry.

Little Black Submarines is fantastic. It's replaced Stack Shot Billy as my favorite Keys tune.

Re: The Black Keys -- "El Camino" -- 12/6/2011

Ok, I feel like a filthy whore....I bought this album as an MP3 download from Amazon....it's not the first album I ever bought online but it is the first album I bought online because none of the four major stores in my area had it stocked and I wasn't about to drive miles away to hit a best buy for it so..........all aboard the mp3 train.

It's a great album....tracks 8 & 10 I don't like much though but still bearable.

This album really shows off their talent and it's pretty damn refreshing. I'm also surprised at how it turned out because I can't stand danger mouse - here, he makes me shut my mouth.

This is easily their best effort to date and definitely my favorite by them.

This is the first of their albums that I have bought. How are the older ones?

They are all good - their first two are very heavy and raw but they obviously had to make changes because that style can only go so far - some people like what they did on attack and release (this is where the big changes in their sound come) while others really can't stand it.

Rubber Factory hits a high as far as refining their style goes while magic potion is bit too simplistic (to the point where all of the songs start to sound the same).

El Camino is definitely the next step in their evolution.

Wow, decided to pick up the CD as I finally spotted a copy.....this has got to be the worst packaging I can remember in a long time.

I accidentally ripped some of the sleeve from trying to take out the notes and I was being careful!!

The artwork is so pointless as well.

Yeah it seems like that packaging is becoming more common these days (all paper, hard to find disc and liner notes).

No, it doesn't - the insert is just a ton of pictures of different mini-vans taken from all over Akron Ohio. The last page contains a thank you section.

With the size of the case (very small) and the fact that I ripped it already even with being careful.....it really is the one album that may just make me hop on the MP3 train for good - the only other album that almost put me over the edge recently was the Foo Fighters Wasting Light album.

All the above and I did some quality testing with my Amazon 256 Kbps downloads.....I think I'm FINALLY ready.

I have been thinking about switching a lot lately due to how damn hard it is to find some new releases in stores....it's ridiculous. Also, the best buy near me BARELY stocks any cd's - they use to have such a huge selection.

Re: The Black Keys -- "El Camino" -- 12/6/2011

There was evidently a huge problem in that not enough of these were pressed for Christmas - one record store I was at a few days ago said they received two copies, and another one received around six or eight. Amazon says "Temporarily out of stock." Hard to imagine, as this would have been one of the big sellers of the season otherwise.

Yes, I was referring to the vinyl release. No one I know wastes money on CDs anymore.

I know you might not consider yourself a hipster (you're way too old), but that comment, wow, it's right out of the hipster playbook!

I'd get up and hit you, but between my arthritis and my too-tight skinny jeans, I can't seem to get out of my chair.

An album like El Camino deserves to not be heard on tinny iphone ear buds and cheap-ass digital

It's a good thing I don't have people following my comments because I have got to be the weirdest, most OCDest, person when it comes to the tangible item in hand.

I love the artwork and my most recent attempt at going all "download" has led to me now wanting the vinyl versions of the few albums I own
