Know there are several Rush fans here,and haven't seen this posted yet,so...

According to the DirectTV listings for September 28th and 29th, VH1 Classic will be airing yet another Rush Hashanah special at the end of the month where they use the Jewish holiday of Rosh Hashanah as an excuse to air nothing but Rush programming for 24 hours straight. Better yet, it looks like they will use the opportunity to premiere the Time Machine 2011: Live in Cleveland concert video! The DirecTV listings for VH1 Classic (DirecTV channel 337) indicate that starting at 7PM on September 28th, the channel will begin airing all Rush programming beginning with the Rush Classic Albums special at 7PM and then the Time Machine 2011 concert from 8-10PM. Also on the docket are the Rush documentary Rush: Beyond the Lighted Stage, R30 and Rush in Rio; a full 24 hours of Rush! The Time Machine 2011: Live in Cleveland DVD/Blu-ray is currently slated for a November 8th release and will have a running time of 164 minutes along with a bunch of great bonus features. VH1 Classic first celebrated Rush Hashanah back in 2008 and also in 2010, where they premiered the Rush Classic Albums special. Many thanks to nicodemus49 for the heads up.

Wish it was in HiDef-but it will hold me over until the Blu Ray in Nov.

the only problem with VH1 Classic for me, is that my browser doesn't do program listings for them. it just says 'vh1 classic/music videos'

Captured in April 2011 at Cleveland’s Quicken Loans Arena during the renowned trio’s extensive Time Machine World Tour, “TIME MACHINE 2011: LIVE IN CLEVELAND” marks the band’s first live album recorded at a show in United States, and a deliberate nod of gratitude to the first city to support Rush on its radio airwaves. The wildly popular tour features a 26-song set filled with classic hits, fan favorites, and a glimpse into Rush’s forthcoming 20th studio album “CLOCKWORK ANGELS.”

The Blu-Ray format will include the band’s notorious concept tour videos; The 'Real' History of Rush Episode No. 2 “Don’t Be Rash” & The 'Real' History of Rush Episode No. 17 “...and Rock and Roll is my name.” The bonus material features outtakes from the short films, an alternate film version video for “Tom Sawyer”, and two rare pieces of Rush live footage from the ‘70’s vault: “Need Some Love” from Laura Second Secondary School with original drummer John Rutsey, and “Anthem” from Passaic New Jersey.



Also gonna be on the "Big Screen"!!!

About the Film
RUSH TIME MACHINE 2011: Live In Cleveland is an evening with Rush performing their classic hits and features the legendary Moving Pictures album live in its entirety. Released in 1981, Moving Pictures was their most successful album to date, certified 4x Platinum and features some of Rush’s most well known songs and perennial radio favorites, including “Tom Sawyer,” “Limelight” and the Grammy®-nominated instrumental “YYZ.”

Captured in April at Cleveland’s Quicken Loans arena during the renowned trio’s extensive Time Machine world tour, TIME MACHINE 2011: Live In Cleveland marks the band’s first live concert filmed in the United States. The choice to record in Cleveland was a deliberate nod of gratitude to the first city to support Rush on its airwaves, as former WMMS DJ Donna Halper is widely credited for helping break the band in 1974 by spinning “Working Man.” The reinterpreted live version of “Working Man” was the encore closer on the Time Machine tour.
