Oh God yes...

Someone's gonna have to keep Lemmy away from Christina, though. I hereby volunteer.

Yawn. Mild interest in seeing Motorhead. I've been a Megadeth fan for a long time, but Dave's been picking some rather uninspired set lists (RIP 20th tour not withstanding), so unless he digs deep and plays some old cuts (which he won't) I'll likely pass on this.

Re: Gigantour: Megadeth, Motorhead, Volbeat, Lacuna Coil

I missed Megadeth when they toured last year, and regretted it. Nice to see them back on the road, although the whole thing doesn't exactly thrill me. I've seen Motorhead. They're good, but I'm not in the cult of Lemmy, and I don't think I could stand hearing them in an indoor venue. I have no interest in Lacuna Coil, and have no idea who Volbeat even are.

This would depend greatly on venue and the day of the week it is.

Megadeth & Cristina, fuck yeah... don't care for the rest.

and yeah Dave better come up with a better and different set list. It's been the same for years and hardly plays/promotes the last few albums properly.

I guess we can already add the unnecessary update of "A Tou Le Monde" to the setlist.

I've been waiting to see Motorhead for several years now. They keep on cancelling shows here. I don't really have any interest in seeing the other bands again, so I'll likely sit this one out.

I would love to have Cristina sing it by herself.

Lacuna Coil only playing 6 songs? Yikes.

For some reason I thought Volbeat would have been the first opener on this tour.

That is a terrible Megadeth setlist. Jesus, Dave, you DO know fans want to hear material off the first album, right? So uninspired it isn't even funny. Obviously he learned nothing after jamming with Metallica recently.

These two things together are making me re-think if I want to drive the 2 hours plus the cost of ticket, gas and parking.

Shows normally go by draw (normally) and I really don't think Volbeat draws more than Lacuna Coil.

EDIT: A friend of mine looked it up and apparently Hank from Mercyful Fate is playing guitar for Volbeat as a guest this entire tour. Really hope that (or the Mercyful Fate guest appearances on their album) isn't the reason they got a higher billing.

I wouldn't drive across the street for this show. Not with that set, not with the ticket cost. 2 hours plus gas/parking doesn't sound worth the effort to me.

I'll wait for Megadeth to do another legacy tour, or something where they play a set that isn't yawn inducing.

Now I'm glad I didn't get tickets. I was just gonna wait for their solo tour... yeah that's bullshit on Cristina only being on stage for 7 (counting ATLM] songs and Megadeth only 13.5 songs, wtf! and mostly the same setlist again! WTF!!

I probably will end up skipping it. I was hoping for a good sized Lacuna Coil set, Motorhead AND a good Megadeth set list, but in the end looks like I might just get one of those.

I should have seen Megadeth in 2010, when they played 'Rust In Peace' from start to finish.

Gonna skip this one. Megadeth's set list is pitiful. And I don't like Lacuna Coil or Volbeat anyway.
