That picture was the basis for my comment.

I don't think there were any metal chicks in 1983, outside of maybe Lita Ford and Betsy Bitch.

You never went to a Def Leppard, Scorpions, or Judas Priest concert then. I'm talking about fans.

And they were talking about female guitarists.

Why I specifically used the inclusive term "metal chicks". You seem quite confused a lot. You're quite deft at those childish memes though.

Bullshit. There's more hot ones now than ever because there are more female metal performers than ever.

Absolutely agree. I saw The Kills last night and something about Mosshart when she performs is sexy as hell.

I'm more familiar with Mosshart's work with Dead Weather.

And of course she's hot, before becoming a singer, she was a model.

I love Rachel Price of Lake Street Dive. And her voice is incredible.

karina Rykman

just discovered her via an FUV show. Apparently i have a a thing for gingers. I think she is the bees knees, and embodies naturally cute. Also a really good guitarist and metal chick.

So, I know I've already mentioned her, repeatedly, but Susanna Hoffs just turned FIFTY-fucking-SEVEN years old the other day, and here she is at a gig just a month ago.

I can't imagine anyone else mentioned in this thread looking this good this close to 60.

Models have to be graded on a far different curve than musicians.

Yup, still fine as hell. I watched that CNN The Eighties series the other day and she was on it during the MTV parts and I was like damn, you still fine as fuck.

Mostly known for being lead singer of the Bangles.

She also did a great anthology of 3 covers albums with Matthew Sweet called "Under the Covers" - well worth checking out!

Ah, The Bangles. I should know more about them, but I only know them by name. At any rate, Hoffs is extremely attractive.

re: Most attractive woman in music history?

Meg Myers lost some points after shaving her head, but at least she donated it to Locks of Love.

She still rocks the short hair fairly well, but I hope she grows it back out.
