Usually the hottest chick in music also means the most talentless musician.
Old school and no talent either.

Good call on Apollonia, JeffTheAlpaca, although I'd say Vanity was pretty hot as well:
My favorite, though, is Namie Amuro:

Why does it matter?

re: Most attractive woman in music history?
Because it gives us a handy excuse to post pics of our favorite hot singers, that's why.
Like many fans, I'd bet, I was initially curious about Namie Amuro because I found her so hot. When I checked out her music, after picking up a concert tape at a Japanese video store, I found I liked it a great deal--and it started me on the road to my J-pop fandom.
So, yes, sometimes it matters.

As she looks as good now as she ever has, and appears to have not aged, i am convinced she drinks the blood of unbaptized Christian babies. When she did that eye thing in Walk Like An Egyptian, she ruined me for all other women.

And I remember that Ms. Annabella Lwin stirred up strange new feelings in 12 year old Ky-Fi. (and on a side note--single greatest rock guitar tone ever put to record---oh, for the day when I can afford a Gretsch...)

It's funny, she was very young when she was in this band, and I saw them on a reunion tour in 2004 and she still looked awesome.
