Most everything Sloan, but particularly the above albums. The latest The Double Cross is currently my contender for "Album of the year"!

Re: What Are You Listening To? (May 2011)

I'm basically a grumpy old codger who's stuck in 1982 musically, and although I don't follow new music much, I absolutely love the Yeah Yeah Yeahs---great sound, great songs, and she's one of my favorite vocalists ever.

Since seeing them on 5/20, lots of Rammstein.

Meh, it's just an ass. How do you like it? I think it's one of their weaker efforts. Too short, and it doesn't sound as memorable as their previous work.

Agreed. I really can't think of any one track that really stood out. I was surprised when they said they were dropping the guitars and going all synth. The tracks should have been longer or at least they could have had more.

Re: What Are You Listening To? (May 2011)

Got into Patti Smith lately and made my way through Easter yesterday. Any suggestions for other albums?
