After listening to the whole thing, I'm disappointed and glad I used that coupon code to bring the price to $1.99. The Karen Elson, Jenny O, Nick Lowe and (surprisingly) Cee-lo covers are the only ones I really like. I was really looking forward to the Florence & the Machine cover of Not Fade Away after hearing what she did with Robert Palmer's Addicted to Love:

But it's such a muddle.

That's disappointing about the tribute. Some good artists on there. I'll probably still check it out.

They should've also given Marshall Crenshaw an invitation to the party. His cover of "Crying, Waiting, Hoping" (from when he played Buddy Holly in La Bamba) has been my standard for Holly covers since the late '80s:
