She did a movie Country Strong and a duet with Cee-Lo Green and I don't watch Glee but she covers a Joan Jett song and Kiss by Prince.

She's got a decent voice. I've got no problems with her singing.

Why? I doubt she'll be recording anything I'd buy anyway, but why should she stop if she enjoys it and can appeal to some?

To be fair, Portman aint all over "Dancing with the Stars" or network television toe-tapping and what-not. I mean, yeah, maybe her uterus would drop out but even still, she seems to have a bit more self-respect/restraint than that talentless, bony skank Paltrow.

She has an OK voice and with the right song, it can work. I still remember Gwyneth's duet with Huey Lewis on "Cruising." At least, she doesn't use autotune like most pop artists these days.
