Amazing amount of great people in the extended version of revisited, but overall, it really really didn't work for me - extremely boring and pretentious. I'll pretend the short version is the only one.

I'm kind of surprised this album hasn't leaked yet. It comes out in 1 week.

I'm getting excited for this one, I can't believe it's been 7 years since the last Beasties album.


edit: It did just leak today, but it is the "clean" version.

I am way excited for this one, I saw that leaked version but I won't listen to it, I am gonna have a small party and listen to the entire album on my pretty decent system with some friends and few good beers.

It was instrumental only but they released the album The Mix Up in 2007.

Normally when I like this many on the first run through it tends to be a pretty good thing.

I hear ya.....kinda surprised at the sound of it...their voices are muffled on every song...I don't hate it....maybe just need to let it grow on me a little more.

Yes, I hope it grows on me as well. It wouldn't bother at all if they released albums every 2 years or something, but it could be 2017 before we get another Beastie Boys record. :lol:
