Baby It's Cold Outside. Because I've been shown the truth that it's really a song about kidnapping and rape.

It's like the music they used to have at Space Mountain.
Winner! I love the Beatles and McCartney but what a piece of dreck.

There are tears in my eyes knowing there are others who truly detest Santa Baby as much as I do. I thought I was the only one.

More hate for Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer

If we get around to a second, I'd kill-off Santa Baby

But I'd like to use a life line to save Barking Dogs Jingle Bells - I dig it.

(I think this is the one, I'm partially firewalled here today)

well, if you can defend Barking Dogs Jingle Bells, I can defend Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer. To eliminate that is the same as eliminating The Chipmunk Song.

Fuck this song. Fuck it in the ear. Fuck it in it's other ear.

Every time I hear that chorus I feel every cavity in my mouth start to hurt all at once.

QFT. It's a reprehensible song. Simple can work, but a song with this lack of complexity - repeat lyrics over and over, and when you're done, sing something in English so the tasteless gringos aren't scared to play it on the radio - is just unlistenable.

Also, has anyone else noticed that a bad song is made so much worse when Celine Dion covers it? I appreciate the strength of her voice, but man those arrangements and productions are horrendous. If they're not overkill they're overlong or both.

So you can imagine how much I detest her cover of "Feliz Navidad"...

Re: Joy to the World - Eliminate a Christmas song from existence!

I've always hated any version of I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus. Such a fucking stupid song and I don't know who it is but there is always this version I hear with a kid who has an especially obnoxious sounding voice that makes me want to destroy any copy in existence.

*Edit- found out the version with the kid I hate is none other than Michael Jackson. Didn't realize it until someone told me. Hate that version of this song especially it about makes me cringe anytime I hear it.

"This Christmas"

It's time for a new African-American Christmas anthem.

Last Christmas by Wham!
One fucking verse repeated over and over a million times and no chorus.

The entire contents of the Barbra Streisand Christmas Album.

It was the only Xmas CD in the store where I worked over Xmas 1989 and, after probably 10 repetitions a day, every day from Thanksgiving to Xmas eve, I was long past "enough already!"

If I can't have my first choice, I'll obliterate Little St. Nick by the Beach Boys.

Happy Christmas (War Is Over) by John Lennon. I could pull my hair out by the roots everytime that song is played.

The Little Drummer Boy is not only the worst Christmas song, it is the worst song in the history of the world. That is why the "skip" function was invented.

I like Johnny Cash's version.

I'd eliminate Santa Claus is Coming to Town.

Paul McCartney's "Simply having a wonderful Christmas Time", awful song, I have heard it way too much on the radio this year.
