She looked the same to me, but perhaps also the production will be much higher for this video than her low budget one.

Regarding Katy Perry, I'm not a fan of the concept for this video. I'll take the super hot Katy Perry over the homely outcast version. But the video would have been awesome as a remix mashup with Rebecca Black's version, and have the Glee kids singing instead of acting in the video, I'm sure the Warblers guy could have adding some interesting harmonies.
