What's the one album you would take to a desert island?

In one of those bizarre situations that only arises in late-night dorm bull sessions and internet message boards, you find yourself stranded on a desert island. A waterproof solar-powered CD-player washes up on shore, along with one album on CD. Before you open the case to see what album you're going to have to listen to for the rest of your natural life, you say a silent prayer, hoping that it's the right album. What album are you hoping for?

I think for me, it's the Rolling Stones' Sticky Fingers.

Impossibly difficult choice, but I'm going with a long-playing, long player and a lot of good variety too.

Preferably the Japanese version with the two bonus tracks.

This has to be a DVD Talk first...14 replies and no one has listed multiple albums in a thread asking for one album! Amazing!

Here's mine:

It's not my favorite album, or even in my favorite genre of music, but I think it would suit me best on a desert island.

Great choice, but I would probably choose:

Re: What's the one album you would take to a desert island?

too lazy to post a pic but my choice:

The Fratellis - Costello Music

because if I were on an island all by myself, I'd at least want to have some fun....
