Lots of albums that I love but if I've got to choose just one, it's probably this:

Derek and the Dominoes. Tough call though!

I hate these types of questions, because I can never quite narrow it down to one. I still haven't decided yet, but it'd have to be one of these...

^ Dude no fair. You have to narrow it down to one. We all had to.

Come on you can do it!

Re: What's the one album you would take to a desert island?

I think I might have to go with

Ambient 1: Music For Airports by Brian Eno

This album is like magic candy for my brain and I can't go too long without listening to it (usually as I drift off to sleep).

Although, mad props to Honkeyboy for mentioning Miles Davis - Bitches Brew. That would be a great contender, especially if it was the Complete Bitches Brew box set. Actually, any Miles Davis box set would be a great answer here. Or else, I could do something more evasive like Miles Davis - Get Up With It, and work on getting all the little nuances out of it over repeated listens.

I would go with something from Beethoven (5th symphony) or Mozart (Symphony No. 41)

I'm changing my answer. Since it's a desert island, all I'd need is Jimmy Buffett's "Live at Fenway" and a case of rum.

Re: What's the one album you would take to a desert island?

Great choices (Little Feat - nice) and as it pains me to say it as a big Beatles fan, as well as a Stones fan (love Sticky), but I am going to have to go with:

Stones: Exile - a good variety and amount of songs. Not even my favorite from them but it would do just fine.

Now when does the flotsam and jetsam from a drug smuggler wash up.
