I think I am finally going to update my Tom Waits collection into CD, but before I rebuy them, I really wanna know if there are any rumors at all about him reissuing his catalog???

I think its long overdue and I havent heard a single thing about it one way or another, anyone? thanks.

It would be nice if they would do his catalog like they did Costello's a few years back, but I'm not sure how much unreleased Waits stuff is out there.

I wouldn't mind that. The bonus material could be live shows.

Box sets would be a little difficult as he's been with a few different labels over the years.

I'd just be happy if they remastered his first 2 CDs.

A SACD release would be fantastic, but I know that's not going to happen.

I believe the Mule Variations re-release is a Record Store Day exclusive release.

I picked up Mule Variations, and I must say it's a nice package. The 180g vinyl sounds friggin' fantastic. The art print included in this new "limited edition" is also a nice touch. The only issue is lack of digital format inclusion. ANTI- doesn't really seem to be into doing that for some reason.

If you can find this one reasonbly priced, pick it up.

Didn't know about the Mule Variations exclusive. Need to get me one of those.

Since "Orphans" is just a few years old I doubt we will get another box anytime soon.
