Overkill for a noob?

Gonna see them live on the 30th of April as part of their 25th anniversery tour (i'll be honest, i'm goin for vader, god dethroned and warbringer), but i figured that i should at least familiarize myself with the band's better material. With 15 albums out there, are there one or two that really stand out, or contain their more well known songs. Their newest one "Ironbound" has gotten great reviews thus far (a 9.5 on blabbermouth), so i will prob pick that up for sure.

Thanks for the help

The Years Of Decay is another awesome album as well.

I love their first album "Feel The Fire" the most.

Quick top 6 in my opinion :

1. Taking Over
2. Feel The Fire
3. Horroscope
4. Under The Influence
5. The Years Of Decay
6. Ironbound

Or you could try out one of their live albums (Wrecking Your Neck or Wrecking Everything). They have a mix of old and new stuff. Great band live though - you'll like them.

I'd say that, if you're going to get one Overkill album, it should probably be "Taking Over," and then either "Years of Decay" or "Under the Influence" as the next. "Taking Over" just feels like their definitive album, though that may because it's the first one I got.

And the "Fuck You" EP... of course.

Killbox 13 was a really good album.

I love them. Horrorscope and W.F.O. are my favorites.
From Underground and Below is good too.
I love bands that have been around for this long - 25 years-
and haven't changed their style one bit.
