My wife is the biggest Killers fan. We saw them in April at The Joint at the Hard Rock and again last month at Mandalay Bay. I must say Brandon Flowers is one of the most charasmatic lead singers to come around in a long time; he's a true Rock Star. I will probably get this, but have to first make sure there's not a video release as I'd prefer that.

Looks to me like disc 1 is a DVD and disc 2 is a CD.

Yeah, I saw that on Amazon. I'm getting the CD/DVD because it seems like the better deal and since my wife can't operate the PS3 as a blu ray player without me.
I still don't get why artists will include a CD with the DVD version, but not with the BR version of their concerts. Does that make sense to anyone?

Nope, it just screws me over I'll buy the blu-ray and download the audio version guilt free, like I did with the Jack Johnson "En Concert" that came out today where no blu-ray/cd combo was offered.

How is the concert on the DVD? Is it shot in some interesting way or is it pretty straightforward?

The concert dvd was shot in a pretty straightforward way. My understanding is this is their first dvd. I have never seen them live, and was amazed at how good they sound.

This dvd is amazing! I was only a casual fan, have the cds and listen to them frequently, but have never seen them perform live. This dvd blew me away! Its editing and direction are simply great. Really neat shots and editing that goes with the music. Lots of really neat shots of the camera flying around that epic venue. Great energy, can't stop watching this thing!

Regarding the editing, is it a bunch of quick, ADD-style MTV cuts or do the shots linger? Unfortunately, I've been burned by some concert DVDs (and refuse to buy others that I'd normally really want) because I HATE the former.

$12 is a great deal, but I'm at the point now where I can see myself getting a Blu-Ray player at some point in the near future, so I've greatly slowed down my standard DVD purchases. But I'm still debating this. I just played "Spaceman" on Rock Band. Man, that should've been a HUGE hit.

Did anyone get the Blu-ray? Does it come with the concert CD also?
