I was channel flipping the other nite, and some guys in outrageous white suits on the Latino music video channel caught my eye. A song by the group El Trono De Mexico was playing, "Te Ves Fatal":

Something about this group tickled my fancy. It's not the typical Ranchera music you hear on the radio, but a variety from Chicago called "Duranguense". It's just so bouncy and happy. I loved it so much, I actually went out and bought the album this song is on, called "Almas Gemelas". Accidental discoveries are cool.

It must be an acquired taste

Other than the cheezy Casio, sounds like pretty much every Latino music I've heard in sleazy Mexican dives.

As a mexican, I can tell you that I don't share your taste in music.
