2 of the original rockers and both were friends but who would you pick as a favorite of the two?

Eddie Cochran

Tough one, but I ultimately went with Eddie. Gene did embodied the rockabilly rebel a bit more. Given more time though, I think Eddie (along with Buddy Holly) would have changed the face of music in their time, much more so.

Plus, Gene looses a point for "Be Bop A Lula". Try as I might, I just can't like that song!

It is a tough one, but I went with Gene. He has a much larger body of work, and some really great tunes. I choose to ignore everything that he did in the 60's and 70's, and with those not counted he is one of the greats. If Eddie had a few more years, I probably would've chosen him.

This is like, "Who would you rather boff, Monica Bellucci or Catherine Zeta Jones." You might as well flip a coin.

I like both, Gene was best particularly when he had the Blue Caps. I'd have to go with Cochran though.

Why can't we rock with Gene and Eddie?
If I had to pick one of then, though, I think I would go with Eddie Cochran.

Despite only knowing "Be-bop-a Lula" by Gene, I picked Eddie because Summertime Blues is a timeless classic.
