Lights is a singer/songwriter from Toronto. Her new EP "Lights" has been so successful, she was named "Best New Artist" at the Canadian Juno awards. I had the pleasure of seeing her perform in an intimate venue in Cleveland a few months ago. Now, she is on the road with the Vans Warped Tour. I have a feeling that she will be HUGE in the US once her album is released late this summer.



I downloaded her album from Itunes the day it was released and it's the catchiest electro-pop-synth I have ever heard.

I won't lie, I enjoy the Self-Titled EP. It's cute, poppy and extremely catchy.

I only caught one song from her set at the San Francisco date at Warped Tour (due to Warped Tour's famous shitty scheduling/organization).

the original reason i posted this thread was to win some warped tour tickets- i did, and i met lights. she was great!

She was discovered and originally put out material on Underground Operations. A label out of Canada, started by the guys from Closet Monster with the money they made playing backup musicians for Avril Lavigne.
