I finally bought something. That 99 Most Essential Handel. I've got several others of those Most Essential ones and I like them all. Thanks for keeping this thread going Dave!

If this is what I think it is, then what happened is Sharon Osbourne had the bass and drum parts re-recorded so as to avoid paying residuals to the original musicians. This was definitely done on his first two albums. I believe that newer versions are coming out with the original backing tracks, but for now the 1994 releases (the ones with the color borders around the album artwork) are the versions to get.

I picked up the Thievery Corporation. I've been meaning to give them a try for a while, but never got around to it until now.
